Kori grew up loving the spotlight. As the youngest of three and the only son, he always needed to be the center of attention, and his family was happy to indulge. Still, he was a total sweetheart. Impossible not to like, even if he always got his way.With his natural talent for performing and being on stage, his parents enrolled him in a performing arts school when he was 11 years old. By the age of 14, he was being scouted by multiple agencies. His parents were hesitant to let their youngest become a trainee, so they waited until he was 16 to let him go.His dream had always been to become a k-pop idol. There was nothing he loved more than singing and dancing, and he wanted to do that for the rest of his life. At least that was what he wanted, until he realized how much he hated the industry. He was far too headstrong and spoiled to let anyone control him the way his company was trying to. He was constantly getting in trouble and butting heads with anyone who had any authority. When it came to things that were directly related to improving his performance - like dance practices and vocal lessons - he was more than happy to listen. But he was also breaking diets, sneaking out to see his friends, and breaking any other rule they tried to set.Still, the company kept him around. They were a small company, and he was one of the most talented trainees they had. They were hopeful that he would grow out of his rebellious phase and be able to debut, but he never changed.Just before his 19th birthday, he quit. He didn't see a future in being an idol anymore. He’d become friends with a few idols while he was a trainee and learned that the constant control never really stopped. He decided to share his talents on social media instead. He had a decent following, but he didn't consider herself famous.About a year later, Kori decided that 20 was too old to be living with his parents and letting them buy him everything, but he didn't really have a way to provide for himself. The thought of working a 9-5 office job made him sick.That's when he picked up a job at a nightclub. He told his parents he was a bartender so they wouldn’t question why she was working so late, but he had actually been hired as a dancer.Kori very quickly grew to love his job. He got to perform every night, and he was making a ridiculous amount of money - more than enough to finally move out. It got even better when one of the girls he worked with recommended a side job as a sugar baby. She showed Kori the site she used and helped him make a profile. With background checks and a high fee just to access the site, Sugary Sweet attracted some pretty rich clientele.It was the perfect job for Kori. He was constantly being showered with attention and gifts, and he didn't have to work, eventually quitting the night club once his financial position allowed it. He felt like the part of her that still wanted to be famous was finally satisfied somehow.
